Our Team

Originally from Illinois, Dr. Nguyen earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. Her clinical interests include dry eye management, pediatric eye care, and comprehensive optometry.

Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Emma and Noah. As a family, they love to travel, explore new foods, and make memories together. She is deeply grateful for the supportive community and “village” they share in their everyday lives.

What Dr. Nguyen values most about working at Market Street Optometry is her patients. She feels truly humbled to care for individuals and families over many years and cherishes the relationships that develop along the way. To her, every day brings a new adventure and an opportunity to make a meaningful connection through patient care.

A native San Franciscan, Dr. Ng grew up in the Sunset District and is a proud graduate of Lowell High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She is an active member of the California Optometric Association and the San Francisco Optometric Society.

Dr. Dr. Ng’s clinical passion is family primary eye care, and she finds great joy in caring for multiple generations and seeing families return year after year. Outside of the office, she loves traveling, trying new foods, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants—from the windy days at Candlestick Park to the equally breezy Oracle Park. Baking is her favorite way to relax, and she still maintains her sourdough starter from the COVID era, along with a growing collection of homemade muffins and crackers. At Market Street Optometry, she values the strong focus on patient care and the ongoing commitment to improving care through the latest technology.

Dr. Yang earned her undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She continued her optometric education at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, where she graduated with honors and received the Optelec Excellence in Low Vision Award.

Dr. Yang has a strong clinical interest in low vision care and providing comprehensive vision services to middle-aged and geriatric populations. She is passionate about patient-centered care and takes great joy in educating her patients about their visual needs. Dr. Yang especially enjoys working in a clinical environment that serves a diverse range of individuals.

What she appreciates most about patient care at Market Street is the variety of patients she sees each day. According to Dr. Yang, this diversity makes her work engaging and rewarding, ensuring every day is both interesting and fulfilling.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Yang enjoys crafting, reading, and traveling.

Dr. Stroud graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Santa Clara University. She completed a residency in ocular disease at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience managing complex eye conditions including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye disease.

Dr. Stroud is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered primary eye care. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, playing the piano, and traveling with friends.

Dr.Vo completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, and returned to the Bay Area to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. Her clinical interests include multifocal and presbyopic contact lens fittings, where she enjoys finding the perfect visual balance for each patient’s lifestyle needs. She also loves performing a precise and challenging refraction, which she views as a rewarding and satisfying puzzle.

Outside of work, Dr. Vo enjoys exploring the many great food spots throughout the Bay Area, spending time with her family, taking long walks with her senior dog in a stroller, and volunteering at her church. At Market Street Optometry, she values caring for a professional and engaged patient population who appreciate advanced technology and enjoy learning about their eye health.

Dr. Wong completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry. She provides comprehensive eye care and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Outside of the office, Dr. Wong enjoys working with her hands and spending time on creative crafts, but what she values most is quality time with her family and friends. She especially appreciates the close-knit, family-like culture at Market Street Optometry and believes the strong relationships among the team help everyone continue to grow and thrive.
